Aspire - Students Marks
Adding students' marks in Aspire is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to ensure that the marks are recorded accurately:
From Aspire Home Page
- Choose the Students tab at the top of the page.
Navigate to Student Profile
- Utilize the search function to locate the student for adding their marks. You can search by student ID, SSID #, name, or other identifying information.
Access the Grades Section
- When in the student's profile, find the tile labeled 'Grades' to access the recorded marks.
Select the Appropriate Term and Subject
- This screen provides access to all terms and courses scheduled for the student for the year.
- Select the term and subject for entering marks, and verify that you are in the appropriate academic period and subject area.
Enter the Marks
- "Final All" posts and finalizes students' marks, indicating that the teacher has completed the posting and finalization process.
- Unchecking and saving will remove the posting and finalizing of student marks, allowing teachers to edit and repost scores in the grade book.
- Please double-check the accuracy of the marks before saving when inputting the student's marks in the designated fields.
Save Changes
- After entering the marks, finalize all posts and student marks, and save the changes. Look for a 'Save' or 'Submit' button to complete the entry.
Verify the Entry
- Please review the student's profile to confirm the accuracy of the recorded marks, ensuring no errors were made during data entry.
Notify the Student and Parents
- If required, notify the student and their parents of any updated grades. This can be accomplished using the communication tools in the Aspire system or through email.
