Do Not Use - Aspire UFA Suggestions for SY2024-2025
This document outlines a suggested process for tracking Utah Fits All students without sending them to Clearinghouse. Changes to Aspire might affect this process and there is always a risk of students being sent to the Clearinghouse.
NOTE: This process is only valid for SY2025, due to HB0455 which will require further details and setup.
- Login to your Aspire program
- Click on “lea”

- Click on “School Manager”

- Create new school (the next 2 items are important and must be done prior to saving)
- Use School ID “995 – Private School” and “990 – Home School (for testing purposes only)”
- Check box “Exclude from Clearinghouse” for your 995 school

- Once you have added the information into all the fields “Save”

NOTE: You will need to set up a calendar, courses, teachers and students in this school, just like you would do for a new or existing campus. Teachers will have to set up a gradebook and will have to go between the two schools to enter assignments and grades.
NOTE: If a parent requests to have their student tested by the LEA, it will be imperative that the guardian understand what data will have to be sent to the Utah State Board of Education (USBE) for the student to be rostered for testing. the student will need to be enrolled as a non-attender, in a course and have a SSID based on the test (see table below). Student information will be sent through to the Clearinghouse for rostering.
