RDS Password Reset

Password Reset for RDS Web Portal

1. Go to https://reset.schools.utah.gov

2. Click on “Reset My Password”.

The "Password Reset: Identify" screen will appear and ask for your Username.
3. Enter your username (first.lastname).
4. Click “Continue”.

The system will send a Pin code to your email address.
5. Open email, locate the pin code, and enter it into the pin code box.
6. Click “Continue”.

The next screen will ask you to confirm your image from your initial setup.
7. Choose the correct image.
8. Click “Continue”.

The next screen will ask you to answer 1 of your 3 security questions from your initial setup.
9. Enter the correct answer.
10. Click “Continue”.

Once you successfully confirmed your identity you will get to the reset password screen.
11.Enter your new password following the requirements listed on screen.
12. Reenter the new password in the confirm new password box.

If they match and meet all requirements the “Reset Password” button will light up from gray to blue.
13. Click "Reset Password" button

"Password Reset Succeeded" will appear in green when you successfully reset your password.

14. Click the login button to login with your username and new password.
