Aspire - Assigning Graduation Codes and Dates
This feature is exclusively for grades 9-12 and enables bulk assignment to all 12th grade students in the current school year.
Your LEA determines the assignment of Graduation Codes.
Follow the steps below to assign graduation codes and dates in Aspire.
Setting Default Graduation Code
- The system administrator will configure this from LEA Lens.
- Choose Control Master tile, go to Edit Settings and then click on the Enrollment tab.
- Set the desired Graduation Code as the default for bulk assignment to all 12th grade students.
- The default code should reflect the work of the majority of your 12th grade students.
- Users are able to access the student enrollment page and modify the default code if it does not apply to them.
- The available Graduation Codes are listed below.

Bulk Assign Graduation Code and Date

From the School Lens select Graduate Seniors

- Put your last day of school as your Graduation date. The default Graduation Code will show below the date.
- By selecting Graduate Seniors tab, all 12th grade students will now have a graduation code and date on their enrollment page.
Clearing Bulk Assigned Graduation Code and Date
- If you have entered and assigned the wrong date or forgot to “retain” specific students before assigning the graduation code and date; you can bulk remove the graduation data.
- Select Clear Graduation Data tab which will remove the data, you can now adjust the information and then graduate seniors again.
Changing Individual Graduation Code and Date for Students
- Use the search function to locate the student by entering their name or student ID.
- Go to the student’s enrollment page and scroll down to the enrollment tab.
- In the High School Completion Status tab, use the drop-down menu and select the code you want to use.
- Put your last day of school as your Graduation date.
Save Changes
- Review all entered information for accuracy.

Click 'Save' to update the student's graduation status in Aspire.
