Hosted By:
LEAs can choose to host their own servers or have USBE Host their data
Charter schools and districts hosted at USBE access Aspire through a web URL connection provided by USBE. Aspire Web address for example is: https://yourschoolname.usoe-dcs.org
Districts hosting their own server should consult with their IT department for instructions on accessing Aspire. Aspire is compatible with Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge web browsers, and it is important to keep these browsers updated.
External Systems:
UTREX Clearinghouse Server
Some essential systems, such as UTREx Clearinghouse and SSID System, are external to Aspire Software.
Data is extracted and managed through S.I.F. for UTREx Data Gateway (https://datagateway.schools.utah.gov)
State Student Identification numbers are created through the SSID system (https://ssid.schools.utah.gov). Users can create and export request files in Aspire Software, which are then uploaded to the SSID site for a response file to be created and imported back into Aspire Software.
Transferring Data:
You will need a login to the secure MOVEit website (https://secure.schools.utah.gov) when uploading student data or photos.

Software Updates
Software updates are performed bi-weekly or monthly to fix errors and introduce new enhancements. Updates are announced via email on the Listserv and are implemented by USBE for LEAs hosted at USBE. Update files for LEAs hosting their own data can be found on the secure MoveIT site. Users should be logged off during the update process, and documentation is provided after each update detailing the changes made.
